Atlantic Aqua Farms, North America's largest grower and processor of live mussels, is currently hiring for Aquaculture Seasonal Workers.

LOCATION: Prince Edward Island from various bays including Malpeque, Stanley Bridge, Rustico, Tracadie, St. Peter's Bay, Georgetown, Sturgeon, Murray River and Orwell Cove.

DURATION: Currently Seasonal (May-October) with future opportunities for year-round employment.

HOURS: Full-time 5 days a week providing lots of time off to enjoy our PEI lifestyle!

No experience is required as full training will be provided, and a reminder that this unique outdoor job does include lifting and bending.

Examples of what you'll do as an Aquaculture Support Worker include:

  • Harvesting mussel seed
  • Tying mussel socks to back lines
  • Adding buoy flotation to backlines
  • Double socking mussel socks
  • Spraying mussel socks
  • Building and maintaining mussel and oyster enclosures
  • Maintenance of mussel and oyster equipment and buildings
  • Liming mussel seed
  • Harvesting mussel socks for processing
